Gympie and Sunshine Coast newborn photographer
"We take photos as a return ticket to a moment otherwise gone."
Hi, Im Josette
As a mother of three beautiful children, I know first hand just how quickly they grow and change. We so desperately want to slow down time and take it all in. There's a saying, "the days are long, but the years are short" and it's so true!
I am endlessly grateful that my job is helping parents to press pause, just for a short time - taking time to breath in their new baby, tickle their child and watch them giggle, or look into the eyes of their beloved - perhaps something they haven't done for a while.
And then creating a piece of artwork that my clients can proudly hang in their home as a constant reminder of the love shared.
I hope I can help you and your family to press pause, whether it be with your newborn baby or your growing family, I'd love to meet you and take your photos
Josette's photography studio is the perfect place for your maternity, newborn and older baby sessions. Located at Jones Hill, where Gympie and the Mary Valley meet. Josette is blessed to have families who travel from Hervey Bay, the Sunshine coast and right through to Brisbane for their photography sessions, as well as wonderful Gympie locals.
It is very private with gorgeous natural light and kept at the perfect warm temperature, especially for new little babies. This custom built space was designed with your comfort in mind. It has a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom facilities and a very comfortable sitting area.
Why printed photos...
My dream is that every baby I photograph, will end up with their own treasured memories to keep for a lifetime. Timeless photos that they will love to bring out when they have their own babies and one day hand down to the next generation.
It's for this reason that I have searched for years for the most beautiful and professionally handcrafted printed products to offer to my clients.
In this new digital world we find ourselves in, there is nothing better than tangible memories that you can touch and feel for yourself and one day, hand down to your children. I understand digital files also have a place in our lives and these can definitely be included, but nothing compares to a printed photograph.
